Summer League

TGSF offers a summer softball league for both recreational and competitive teams. In the event there are not enough teams, rec. and competitive could be combined. Entry is by team only, however, individual girls may place their name on a list as many teams do need extra players.

Season consists of 10 games. Games will be double headers one night per week. In the event of an odd number of teams in your age group, a second night will be necessary a few times during the season. Games will be played on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday nights. All games are played at Savage Park and will have one umpire.

$60 per team

(fee does not include umpire or uniform cost)

All teams must be ASA registered and insured. Contact Lynn at 437-5072 for information regarding registration/insurance. We do not keep standings or award trophies. This is just a chance to have fun, learn new skills and play more softball.

At Savage Park we will be playing ASA league and tournaments, NAFA tournaments and USSSA tournaments. Below is some information on each of these associations, their guidelines and locations of national tournaments/world series tournaments for 2008.
